Hello, I’m about to buy an adrenal saliva test, I’ve had Dhea recently and it was fine so not looking to spend the extra. I had the labrix around a week ago but I didn’t feel the saliva results matched my symptoms or previous testing. Is medichecks the best for this ?
Also it correct that optimal levels should be:
Top
Top quarter
Middle range
Absolute bottom
Thank you

Medichecks is not a good test, the reason being that for two of the samples (afternoon and bedtime) they have zero as the low limit of the range. Considering ranges are supposedly based on healthy people, if anyone did have a level of zero they'd either be very ill or in a morgue. Also the bedtime one, which is supposed to be the lowest level of cortisol of the day, doesn't measure any lower than 1.5, the result comes back either as <1.5 or higher than 1.5 if that's what the person's level is. You can see what I mean here:
Blue Horizon test is virtually the same from what I remember.
Best tests are Regenerus and Genova Diagnostics, they have proper ranges, although they do include DHEA which isn't a bad thing to test them both together and Regenerus is £83 compared to Medichecks £79.
