Help with results please !!

So I’ve had my 2nd thyroid test results back today.

First were in May.

TSH 0.03

T4 18.

This time ( also below)

TSH 0.01

T4 31.6

So it looks like overactive thyroid! What now? Do I need to know anymore before I talk to Dr.

Symptoms. Anxiety

Weight gain

Piritus ( itching )

Super overheating

Sore, dry, gritty itchy eyes

Hot feet

Joint ache

achy feet

Tired!

Early rising

Often exhausted

Need daytime naps

Get overwhelmed

Low energy

Feelings of doom

In peri menopause ( symptoms maybe due to this!!)

I am not sure what the difference is between overactive and graves?

Thanks

Yes, you need your antibodies tested.

TPO antibodies, because that FT4 looks like a Hashi's result. But, also TRAB or TSI just in case it's Grave's. D

o not let him tell you you have Grave's and put you on antithyroid drugs without testing the antibodies first.

For full Thyroid evaluation you need TSH, FT4 and FT3

TPO and TG thyroid antibodies tested for Hashimoto’s (hypothyroid).

Hashimoto’s frequently starts with transient hyperthyroid results and symptoms

thyroiduk.org/hypothyroid-b...

Genuine hyperthyroidism is usually due to Graves’ disease diagnosed by Trab or TSI antibodies

thyroiduk.org/hyperthyroid-...

Also EXTREMELY important to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12

Low vitamin levels are extremely common, especially if you have Hashimoto’s or Graves’ disease

Ask GP to test vitamin levels

Recommended on here that all thyroid blood tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and before eating or drinking anything other than water .
