Psoriasis and hypothyroidism

I'm a 37 year old women with Hashimotos, I'm currently visiting my parents (social distancing of course) and my 69 y/o father, who has suffered from psoriasis for some time, seems to be having a flare up. He has red spots on his legs in addition the the flakey skin. Do you know if there is there a link between hypothyroidism and psoriasis?

If the hypothyroidism is caused by Hashimoto’s then both the Hashimotos and psoriasis are autoimmune so as autoimmune issues usually clump together ( I call it a collection, not a selection) then there is probably a link. I have Hashimotos, colitis, Psoriatic Arthritis (I don’t have psoriasis but my middle son has severe psoriasis), Adrenal Insufficiency, my dad was diagnosed last year at the age of 78 with RA so all of these are autoimmune disorders, not technically linked but they do tend to crop up together.

There’s a link with low vitamin D as Dr Coimbra treats psoriasis with this.
