Tips to improve under responding adrenals please

Hello,

I did a synachthen test and my results were:

Serum cortisol after 1/2hr: 471nmol/L, Range >550

Serum cortisol after 1 hour: 560nmol/L, Range >550

As you can see, my adrenals are slightly under responding

Does anyone have tips to improve this, especially as a random blood cortisol test also showed I was on the lower end of the range.

Thanks

More importantly what was your base level cortisol at the start of the test? Did they do an ACTH test, it would have needed to go on ice straight away. Depending on what your base cortisol was your adrenal glands responded well to the artificial ACTH & those levels are within normal limits by most reference ranges.
