I take. T4 and T3. Just started with sublingual. B12. Feel very hot. Should I reduce my T4 intake? Does B12 convert T4 to T3?

Thanks

Just started with sublingual. B12.

Did you test your B12 first and is your level low? We need to test our nutrient levels before starting to supplement anything, we only supplement if levels are low or deficient and then we need to make sure we take the correct dose. Please post your B12 result along with it's reference range so that members can comment.

Feel very hot. Should I reduce my T4 intake?

We can only make comment on whether or not you should reduce your thyroid meds if you post your current results, with their reference ranges. Please post results/ranges for TSH, FT4 and FT3.

Please tell us the doses of Levo and T3 that you take.

Does B12 convert T4 to T3?

No. What makes you think that?

B12 is a B vitamin. T4 and T3 are thyroid hormones. Vitamins can't convert to thyroid hormones.

For full Thyroid evaluation you need TSH, FT4 and FT3.

What were most recent results and ranges?

Also EXTREMELY important to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 BEFORE starting any supplements

What were the results and ranges?

As you are coeliac and have Hashimoto’s low vitamins are very likely and presumably you are regularly tested

What other vitamin supplements are you currently taking.

How long since you were diagnosed as coeliac?

Celiac since 1990 I am aware of all the tests. Purely just wanted to know what p people experience with B 12. I have had low B 12 for years. I know it's not a hormone but it could help your body to better absorb and utilize hormones and in some cases call for a reduced amount of Thyroid meds
