Views on medichecks blood result; variation in crp marker in space of 1 week?

I posted last week re a problem I was having with a blood sample sent to Medichecks. They sent a replacement kit and I now have all of the results which I attach in the photo. I hope it is legible and would welcome members views.

I know my vitamin D is too low and have purchased Vitabiotics supplements which I will use and retest in 3 months.

My FT3 is also too low but I am due to see an NHS endo on 12th June (but of course it may be cancelled) and am trying to build a case for T3 trial. I currently take 75mcg levo. I have had low T3 for many years . Unfortunately when I was at my first appointment with NHS endo in Dec my most recent blood test at that time showed that my T3 was just inside the lower range..... so that was it. I was considered to be "normal" . I feel far from normal- constipated, freezing cold with temp frequently around 35 degrees C, Slow heart beat around 58-60bpm; bp low eg around 89/55 this morning and excessively dry skin. Also have psoriasis of nails.

My crp/inflammatory marker is 5.13 (should be less than 5) but bizarrely the report which I got last week (which was repeated because the folate test couldn't be done)had a figure 0f 0.41 for crp. Surely this cannot vary so much in the space of 7 days?

Re other medication ….I use HRT patches as I have osteoporosis and do not wish to take bisphosphonates as I have stomach problems. Occasionally use zantac 75mcg but not everyday by any means.

Would welcome any views/comments etc please.

Many thanks

Even if we don’t start on full replacement dose most people need to increase dose slowly upwards until on full replacement dose

1.3.6

Consider starting levothyroxine at a dosage of 1.6 micrograms per kilogram of body weight per day (rounded to the nearest 25 micrograms) for adults under 65 with primary hypothyroidism and no history of cardiovascular disease.

Thank you Slow Dragon. What would you recommend for folate and B12. I have a really sensitive stomach and find that supplements often make it worse. I’m taking vitabiotics vit d and so far so good.

I tried gf diet for several months and didn’t feel any different.

Do you think an increase in levo would bring my t3 sufficiently within range? I feel I have no prospect of getting increased dose. Endo said to stick to 50mcg levo at my appointment in Dec. But I got some extra levo and have been on 75mcg since then. My T3 has scarcely changed at all.

For now I will work on improving my vit and mineral levels .
