Could anyone tell me if a b12 level of 219 is normal? Dr says it is.

B12 levels
Dr says it's normal because it's within range but it's low on range.
What is the unit of measurement - pmolL, ng/L or pg/ml - and what is the range.
Do you have any signs of B12 deficiency, check here:

She didn’t say the unit of measurement just that it was normal. I have anxiety, weight loss, nerve pain in back and neck, funny head and feel down. Just wondered if you take a vitamin b12.
Meant to say if I should take some vitamin b12

Ask for a print out of your results from the receptionist at your surgery. In the UK we are legally entitled to them. The print out will show the unit of measurement and the reference range. Don't ask the doctor for results.
Check the signs and symptoms of B12 deficiency that I linked to. Do you have any? If so then list them and show your GP and ask for testing for B12 deficiency and pernicious anaemia.
You need to know if you need treatment for either of these conditions before considering self supplementing for such a low level.
Print the NICE guidelines & take them in to your next appointment. If GP won’t treat you, or won’t often enough to ameliorate your symptoms you could consider sublinguals or self injecting. There’s more info on the PA forum.
