Could anyone PM me the details of a Thyroid friendly GP in the Oxford area if you know someone please? Terrible experience with my current GP a couple of days ago when I asked for a referral to a consultant who said there was nothing wrong with me and also refused my request for Vit D test but tried to say I was depressed and give me sleeping tablets. I am not not depressed but I am angry I can’t get the help I need for my thyroid and parathyroid problems!

Vit D test is not always easy to get from GP, possibly only if they suspect you have symptoms. You can do this with a home fingerprick test with an NHS lab who offer it to the general public:
Do you have the list of thyroid friendly endos from Dionne at ThyroidUK? If not you can send for it then ask on the forum for feedback by private message on any that you can travel to.

I will turn off replies to your post so that no-one puts information about individual doctors on the forum, and they will reply by private message as you have requested.
