The branding "Eltroxin" is used in many countries and there are different formulations. Who is the manufaturer of the one you are asking about? Indeed, do you mean tablets or oral solution?

Also, I am not clear what you mean by "New formulation". Could you please explain further?

Citric acid occurs naturally in citrus fruit. It seems unlikely that the tiny amount in thyroxine tablets would actually cause UTI/Yeast infections, but I suppose it could exacerbate an existing infection.
