Hey does any one know that if I take 75mcg t4 and and 10mcg t3 how much is in total cause i dont want to over dose my self because when my levothyroxine was 75 then they increased to 100mcg my t4 was high and tsh suppressed and t3 was low normal, so endocrinologist has said take 75mcg levothyroxine and 10 mcg t3 , I dont want to over dose myself please could some one guide me cause after near total thyroidectomy my dose has never been correct I want my life back

Tamina, you said you take Novo, which is 75 Levo and 15 t3. Now you're saying you take 75 and 10 t3. Doesn't make sense. Have you changed your dose again?
You said in your other thread that Levo is making you ill and wanted to know how to start taking T3. It's rather confusing, so are you taking a combination of Levo and T3 or just T3?
At present I'm taking levo and t3 but it's making me I'll, that's why I want to start t3 only
OK, but your original question doesn't ask how much is the equivalent in T3, you just asked for the "total" which could mean the T4 equivalent of what you're currently taking.
So can you clarify exactly what you're taking. Hidden mentions that you said you were taking Novo, you say you're taking Levo plus T3.
So let's see exactly what your latest test results are - TSH, FT4 and FT3 - including their reference ranges and we'll see if we can help. Can't do anything without those.
It's always best to reduce Levo and add in T3 gradually.
