Before considering adding any T3 you need to test vitamin levels too
Improving low vitamin levels helps improve conversion of Ft4 to Ft3
Do you have autoimmune thyroid disease, diagnosed by high thyroid antibodies?
For full Thyroid evaluation you need TSH, FT4 and FT3 plus both TPO and TG thyroid antibodies tested. Also EXTREMELY important to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12
Low vitamin levels are extremely common, especially if you have autoimmune thyroid disease (Hashimoto's) diagnosed by raised Thyroid antibodies
Ask GP to test vitamin levels
You may need to get full Thyroid testing privately as NHS refuses to test TG antibodies if TPO antibodies are negative
Recommended on here that all thyroid blood tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and before eating or drinking anything other than water .
Last dose of Levothyroxine 24 hours prior to blood test. (taking delayed dose immediately after blood draw).
This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip, best not mentioned to GP or phlebotomist)
Is this how you do your tests?
Private tests are available. Thousands on here forced to do this as NHS often refuses to test FT3 or antibodies

For thyroid including antibodies and vitamins
Medichecks Thyroid plus ultra vitamin or Blue Horizon Thyroid plus eleven are the most popular choice. DIY finger prick test or option to pay extra for private blood draw. Both companies often have special offers, Medichecks usually have offers on Thursdays, Blue Horizon its more random
Add results if you have them
Or come back with new post once you get results
TPO was 36 so I do know am hash/hypo, I had fertility checks and all vits seemed to be in range (or so GP advised!)
ALWAYS get actual results and ranges on all results
GP will say “normal” meaning not deficient enough for them to be obligated to prescribe
That’s no the same as optimal
Vitamin D at least over 80nmol and around 100nmol may be better
Folate around ten
B12 around 500
Both these are Goldilocks vitamins. Important not to have too little or too much if TTC
Ferritin at least half way through range (normally that’s around 70...but lab ranges vary)
GP would say “normal” if vitamin D was over 50, folate over 3, B12 over 180 and Ferritin over 12

Welcome to our forum but note you are a new member.
You have given no thyroid history in your profile, i.e. when diagnosed, with what and what your prescription is from your GP.
T3 is only prescribed through an Endocrinologist, so you'd have to ask for a referral - in the hope that he/she is sympathetic and do prescribe T3.
You cannot source T3 in the UK unless you have a prescription or get a private prescription (for which you will have to pay a huge amount for the T3 in the UK but could source from abroad which I believe is cheaper).
No information is permitted on the forum of where to source thyroid hormones without a prescription.
I will close your post so that information isn't put on the forum, but those who have information will send you a private message.
