Possible new support group in Gainsborough

Thyroid UK has someone who is thinking about setting up a support group in Gainsborough so I thought I would see if there were many of you who might attend if it's in your area.

Do you mean Gainsborough in Lincolnshire? I live nearby so would be interested. I haven't posted anything for a while as have been doing ok with levothyroxine and life generally, or so I thought.........I have recently been referred to a rheumatologist as my GP thinks I have rheumatoid arthritis, which is a real shock to me. Had lots of blood tests some of which she says strongly indicate it. Have been looking at NRAS info which is interesting but also very scary.

I live about 15 miles away. How often were you thinking of holding meetings for the group?

I'm not sure yet. They just wanted to know if they would get many people attending. Often groups are monthly or bimonthly.

Live in Alford but Gainsborough isn’t all that far away. Would be very interested in joining such a group. If such a support group gets coining I’d be keen to join in.. hope it’s positive.
