I’ve been hypothyroid for years. On 125mcg of levothyroxine. My last blood results were:
TSH 0.012 (0.38-5.0)
Free T4 16.3 (7.0-16.0)
Free T3 5.1 (3.8-6.0)
I have consistently loose stools when I go to the toilet. Not the runs as such but very loose. I’m not going anymore than usual (once a day) but when I go it’s always like this. Is this anything to do with my thyroid?
Thank you!

No change in diet, it’s been going on for months now. Also having hair loss/oily skin but can’t think they are connected?? Thought maybe that was more hormonal.
I’m having exactly the same issue since starting on Levothyroxine 6 months ago. I have no food intolerances and have never had this problem before so it must be the medication. I’ve just switched brands two weeks ago and am hoping that might help but no change so far!
I’m having a call with my GP this afternoon to discuss, I’m not holding out much hope for a solution but I’ll let you know if I get any useful suggestions.
I also have this, but I put it down to the magnesium I take for my osteoporosis. Hard to get everything right... I swallow so many supplements.. and NDT. Let us know what your doc says.
Have you tried whether going gluten free would make a difference? Even reducing the amount of wheat I had made a difference for me and my digestion. Currently trying out how I go completely gluten free.
I had that when my ft4 was high, however, ft3 was fine at the time. Some people seem to have symptoms on high ft4 even though ft3 is within range. Could be also some intolerances, could be supplements.
