Hiya... I have ongoing thyroid and adrenal issues. I miscarried in November and am convinced it was due to hormonal imbalance. I just found out I'm pregnant again and I want to get ahead of the game to reduce miscarriage risk. Has anyone come of NDT when they became pregnant. Any advice helpful. Thanks in advance

NDT while pregnant?
Congratulations on becoming pregnant.
You may find yourself being nagged and bullied to come off NDT by doctors, but if being on NDT makes you feel better than being on Levo, then you should stay on it. NDT was the only treatment available for most treated hypothyroid women for over half a century and those women still reproduced!

Hi moowens, I hope one of humanbean's links says what I heard recently from a doctor. An embryo needs progesterone to grow. I can't tell you which functional doctor said this during a summit but maybe you could look up the benefits of progesterone and see if others are saying it, too. We know fertility depends on progesterone as well.
