Sorry you haven’t had any replies as yet. This is quite unusual. If you have your pre pregnancy results post them. As there’s a certain level you should be under and also have your T4 increased dependent on your trimester. I’ll check back a bit later as your post may have been lost or pushed further down. Ebony
Thanks ebony ! I shall dig them out and post them. They weren’t great I have increased my dose since. Feeling much better now. X
It’s important to be correctly dosed. I don’t have the details to hand so won’t say. But I’ll have a look now. thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/guidel...
And this:

Others will be along shortly.
Congratulations by the way 🤗💜
That's such fantastic news. OMG. I don't have any advice I'm afraid. I'm still waiting for my TSH to drop so I can start ivf a final time. I have Hashimotos as well, so your post gives me hope. Just wanting to wish you all the best with your pregnancy. Wow x
Hi! Congratulations!!
If you check my last post you will see some great replies from diogenes and others relating to tsh/t4/t3 in early pregnancy.
Basically your tsh can be artificially elevated due to hcg but baby actually needs t4 (it converts to its own t3)
So focus on optimising that. And yes your dose normally goes up 25-50mcg in first few weeks of pregnancy automatically usually.
It can be more mid range from second trimester onwards
