Hi please could someone look at my results I’m on 100mcg thyroxine been under a lot of stress from separating from my husband after 25 years moving house and having to move again starting a new career as a phlebotomist at my local hospital.

Been getting up at 5am working 10.5 hour shifts without the added travel time so considering my conversion looks rubbish and my vit D I’ve coped

Any input would be good TIA

First, I am very sorry everything around you seems to be going awry at present, especially if you've been married such a long time. Sometimes family members or friends also cannot understand what happens to us, the patients, when our body doesn't produce the Active thyroid hormones we need for our body to function as normal. How we, the patient feels, can also rebound upon friends/families as no-one can possibly understand why we complain so much when we are taking replacement hormones and especially when doctors don't give us an optimum dose i.e. one that restores our health. Your FT3 is good and I hope once you settle into a new life that you can recover your health once again and you will only have yourself to consider, instead of everyone around you.

Don't worry about your other results and concentrate on yourself alone.

Don't worry about RT3 - explanation below:

Thank you so much for your kind words shaws 😘 I don’t want to start adding T3 incase It messes me up as I need to keep my job now for obvious reasons 😔 .. I will look at the link thank you . My vitamin D was 62.1 ( 50-175)

Selenium 1.34 ( 0.75-1.46)

Zinc 15.47 ( 10.7-17.5)

I will now increase my vitamin D

Thank you so much xxxx

Horrible time for you. I split from my husband after 22 years, not helped in the slightest by my health problems. It was like a bereavement.

I cant offer advice re your bloods, but you have my sympathy

I'm very sorry your marriage ended after 22 years. It must have been a terrible time for you and we cannot help it if we have an autoimmune disease and having to cope with hypo plus all symptoms and then the stress and disbelief that our 'other half' wants to separate altogether. That's very, very, hard, especially when our health isn't 100%.

I hope you have now been able to come to terms and that 'life' is easier now, although I doubt you will forever forget that experience.

Stress can contribute to thyroid disease and I think watching my best friend of over thirty years die a painful death set off my Graves' disease. You results don't look too bad but with what is going on in your life you are bound to feel unwell. Hoping you get to a better place soon.

Not what you're looking for?
