My apology I can only send individual blood test results but this is the first of My latest blood results. I have an appointment on Monday to discuss the results with my Gp and I would be most grateful for your advice

Turned off replies on the other posts so as to avoid spreading responses over numerous posts.

It does make it really difficult for people to respond when the results are spread across four separate posts. We are well aware that you can only post one image per post. You could merge the images somehow (there are many ways of doing that on computers but it is difficult on phones), or type the results in on one post.

My apology once again, I used to consider myself computer literate but the photographic function on this site and lots of other new technology I must admit do get the better of me. I realised it would be potentially irritating but I really wanted to get the results posted so that I could get some advise.

Well, of course it has. That's what it's supposed to do. :)

Although, your TSH is still a bit high. So, the next questions is: how well are you converting that T4 to the active T3? Probably not very well. But, to find out, you need to test your FT4 and FT3 at the same time, and compare them. The NHS usually refuses to test T3, but you could do it privately. I think it's important to know.

Your ferritin is very, very low. And it's important that your GP investigates further.

Your B12 is a little on the low side - should be at least 550. And I'd want my folate higher than that. Although your doctor will think they're fine because they're in-range, so you'd have to do that yourself. But he should be looking more seriously at the ferritin.

So, given your low nutrients, I'd say it's more than likely that you have poor conversion. How do you feel? Have you had your antibodies tested?

Hello Greygoose. Thank you for the interpretation and advise. My symptoms have improved slightly but I’m not asymptomatic. I still have the same symptoms but non are as frequent or severe,

Is the antibody test you refer to thyroid peroxidase Abs. This result hasn’t come through yet

OK, so your FT3 is probably low, then. It's low T3 that causes symptoms.
