Feeling very hot with dose that’s been ok for a while

As above for a week . No change in dose 75 Levo with 10 Lio .

Dropped dose for 1 day and took 50 Levo and 5 lio next day .

Already I am cooler which is better .

As I have no thyroid I didn’t expect these changes , probably had them before but not so bad .

Any advice please as don’t think such a low dose over the two days is good in the long run .

Please help

What is your normal dose of thyroid meds?

75 Levo. And 10 lio

Thanks for answering . Not a big dose so I am puzzled

Yes that is not a full replacement dose which is roughly 200mcg. 10mcg of liothyronine is roughly 3-4 x that of levo so roughly equates to 105-115mcg of levo.

I know you say you felt hot but did you take your temperature? A wise thyroid doc once told me feeling hot doesnt mean you are -you can have a low temp so take your temperature never go on feelings.

It could be that you are under medicated. What are your blood test results?

Not sure if post went so again :

T4. 16.3. 12-22

T3 4.3. 3.1-6.8

4th November 2019

All conditions as advised on this forum.

For blood draw.

Thanks.

Oh I didnt realise you had been poorly. Poor you. Hope you are feeling better?

Are the results prior to your infection?

If so I am not a medic but you are undermedicated and if it were me I would increase. Question: are you on the Liothyronine as well because of poor conversion? If not levothyroxine increase may increase both scores & if it were me Id do that first.

After antibiotics a good probiotic to restore the gut balance is always wise -I agree with slowdragon.

Can see from recent post you have been laid up with chest infection. Did you have antibiotics?

Gut may need to resettle....a good probiotic perhaps

Hello Gcart I have hypothyroidism possibility of Hashimotos doctor still examining blood tests and results and still have my thyroid. I get hot flushes heat intolerance when taking Levothyroxine 100mcg not sure if related but could be. I find I can go hypo or hyper.

Yes so confusing. . I had no testing prior to TT for cancer .Never know if antibodies were involved!

Thought things would be fairly stable. Less fluctuations that Hashi causes some people on here ! but maybe it was the chest infection and cat bite infection I suffered caused problems:
