Adrenal injection info please? & Oh to be heard & helped 😊

Good new year wishes all

Had positive experience today with a new Endo, smashing, he answered everything and said to check adrenals he will give injection, its to check reaction i gather!?

I still struggle with levo, headaches

And YES wehay!!! He does use ndt when ncessary!! Omg to be heard & helped is amazing!!!! Cried back to station!

Has anyone had injection please, any knowledge experiences of this please?

Im in a stressful place just until hopefully march- should i muddle on do you think? As isnt a true adrenal test with all the stress going on - fretting a lot

Dr P said levo is bad if adrenals are flat so i imagine this may be why I've struggled?🤷‍♀️And diagnosed insuffuciency

I told endo, this is why he is checking out as nhs urine said ok??!

And he new dr p was ‘struck off’ but did point out he resigned for his beliefs 🤷‍♀️

I've had it done, with no problems, it showed my adrenals are ok.

Dr P wasn't "struck off" - you are correct.

"He submitted to voluntary erasure from the medical register as an alternative to having his license suspended for the use of unapproved diagnostic tests and treatments such as whole thyroid extracts".

If the medical hierarchy were to be more open minded then they would come off their "high horses" and listen to, and see, the evidence staring them in the face that current NHS protocols do not work for everyone.

We all know it's a scandal!

In all probability I would now be dying a long slow death if I had continued to follow NHS advice....support from TUK stopped that!

Dippy Thankyou!!!! Oo il think about test then eek. Iv just stopped bio ostrogen so thats to clear and now bit concerned re pituatory

Where did Dr P get his testing from I wonder? Who was his mentor ?

But wasn't this the NHS route too at that time I thought it was until levo came into existent ?

Wouod you know why Dr P thinks levo really bad if have low adrenals?
