thursday I had a partial thyroidectomy. I am currently having a heavy feeling in my throat like a golf ball sitting in it...I can breath just fine it's just heavy and annoying. it's like one part of my neck is being squeezed but the rest is fine.. I'm not real sure on what to expect cuz this was my first surgery ever so I dont even have something to compare it too...i just dont know should i call the drs?or is this normal for this type of surgery?

As you are unsure if this is normal, I would ring the doctor for a telephone apt and check. Better safe than sorry. Its possible you have some fluid that has collected and will simply slowly go back down on its own but best to check. Sorry you had to have a thyroidectomy but join the club.
