er well I have phoned around no joy hence my ? regarding other makes of Levo and the date of expiry must be there for a reason ... do not want to go backwards after coming so far
Well I spoke to my chemist and they don't stock them but what she did say was interesting. She could order them from alliance 25mcg 28 in box , however because they are slightly above NHS tariff price the customer will have to pay £1.00 per box. Awful I know but that's the situation my end. So available on order if you pay £1.00 abox. 🙄 Ask your chemist if they can order in from alliance and pay the difference if it's possible or if you'd do that.
Oh bless you for taking the time to find this information for me ...I will ask my pharmacy and see if they could do this for me...£1 extra is a small price to pay to keep well ...
I have Wockhardt as a named supplier on my prescriptions as I get along with it much better than any other brand of Levo.
My pharmacy couldn’t get it a few weeks ago. Nor could any other local pharmacies. What I did was call Wockhardt customer services in Wrexham. They told me a batch would shortly be released. However, this is the important bit, they carry safety stocks. They instructed me to request my pharmacy to give Wockhardt a call and put a request in. The pharmacist did this. Then the next day I had my Wockhardt prescription filled. There is no extra charge for this service by Wockhardt to your chemist.
So now I know that if there is ever a shortage you can call customer service and you will get your supply.
