Dr Kearney / Dr Mukherjee

I have an under active thyroid and have been treated by the same consultant for 15 years. Sadly (for all his patients) he has just retired. I am keen to see another endo. I have been doing some research and have come across these two doctors. My GP mentioned Dr Kearney and suggested I see her, but I noticed that she didn't get great reviews. So I am wondering if anyone has seen her or Dr Mukherjee.

The great thing about my endo was that he was not numbers led. He was interested in how I felt as well as the blood tests. I am keen to get somebody like that. I don't have hashimotos or any other problems (that I am aware of) .

My recent blood tests came back with my T4 really high, my T3 at the top of the range and my TSH suppressed. (My TSH is always suppressed, but my T4 is higher than it has ever been.)

I have agreed with the GP that I will reduce my dose by 25mcg and will retest in six weeks.

Please can you PM me your experiences with these doctors so I can make an informed choice.

Thank you very much.
