I used to get it from Sainsbury’s, but this is going back a good few years.
I changed my chemist (for sending prescriptions to) to Kamsons which is closer but almost without exception they get it wrong, nearly every time including today when my husband went to collect it.
Actavis is clearly written on the prescription, it is also in large type on their computer screen (hubby saw it after questioning them).
I am so sick and tired of their mistakes that I want to change back, Sainsbury’s is the next closest without having to drive into the village. I did phone them to ask once but they were uncertain at the time.
So does anyone here in the UK get their Actavis from Sainsbury’s please?

But they would almost certainly supply Northstar as it is a brand owned by the Lloyds pharmacy group - and is just Actavis with a Northstar card outer!
Very recently, I told a pharmacist in Boots, who supply it as Almus, that the product licence details are on the outside of the pack. She had been opening every pack to check.
Hi, my dad has been having problems getting his bp med Atenelol by Activas for the last few months. The dispensary can't get it, the local chemist said they could, but when he went to collect they couldn't, and we've tried endless pharmacies, including Sainsburys.
On trying the Drs again yesterday he's had to swop to Crescent, which one of the dispensers said was co-owned with Activas? The tablets area different colour and we await to see if they suit him as he's had probs with other brands of Atenolol. Haven't had a chance to research yet, but didn't realise about Northstar, thanks.
