2009 to 2015 free diabetic 3.5 250mg 5mg

2015 to till now 2.5 1000mg 4mg

Self observation

I thank metformin suppress pituitary gland & lower TSH level. Lower TSH seems hyperthyroid, & I said by a medical specialist doctor that we are follow only TSH level , but the symptom of the body shows hypothyroid ,such as

•Fatigue

•Constipation (serious issue}

•Dry skin

•Weight gain

•Puffy face

•Muscle weakness

•Elevated blood cholesterol level ((serious issue}

•Thinning hair

•Slowed heart rate

•Depression

•Impaired memory

•Noise in the ears

If I increase thyroxine with the same diabetic dose, then facing sugar 150-170 fastning, and 220-250 randam.

pl help, what to do?

on Levothyroxine it's common to have low vitamin levels

Can you ask your doctor to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 levels

Do you take any vitamin supplements?

Have you got actual blood test results and ranges for

TSH

FT4

FT3

Thyroid Blood test should be done early morning before eating or drinking anything other than water and last dose of Levothyroxine 24 hours before blood test

High FT4 and Low FT3 is common on just Levothyroxine especially after Thyroid removed.

Testing vitamin levels and getting these to good levels may improve low FT3

Increasing Levothyroxine to get Ft4 high may raise FT3

Easiest option is to try slightly higher dose Levothyroxine

Some people need a very small dose of T3 (Liothyronine) added if FT3 remains low

Or trying NDT (natural desiccated thyroid made from animal thyroud). Most NDT is from pigs, but it is possible to get beef NDT

But when diabetic, you would need to carefully watch blood sugar levels as taking T3 affects blood sugar

yes,

T3=8.39(4.26-8.1)

FT4= 28.1(12-22)

TSH= 1.41(.27-4.2)

HBA1c= 7.8(4.2-6.2)

Triglycerides= 481(50-200)

now i m taking

1.thyroxine= 2.5 tablets at early morning

2.sitaglu Met 100/1000mg at evening(sitagliptin/metformin)

3=Osnate-D= 1tablet evening

4= Getryl(glimepiride) 3mg

As metformin increases,TSH level decreases.my doctor follow only tsh

When you did this test, was it done early morning and no food or drink apart from watee and last dose Levothyroxine 24 hours before blood test?

You need vitamin D, folate, ferritin and Vitamin B12 tested next

So unless your vitamin levels are low.......your results suggest levels are about right....or very slight over medication.

Getting vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 tested next
