As someone who had tested low for Vit D, B12, and slept through the day because a nights sleep was not enough, I thought I would share a video that may be of interest to some here with low Vit D, B12, sleep (and possibly some experiencing pains).
Dr Stasha Gominak is a neuroscientist that specialises in the causes and health effects of poor sleep of which Vit D, a healthy diet and gut bacteria, and B vitamins play a vital role.
What I didn’t know was the important role that Vit D had on building the conditions for the right gut bacteria and how they in turn, with a healthy diet, produce our B vitamins. Maybe not enough B vitamins all the time but she covers that.
It is quite a lengthy interview and does get seriously technical at some points but I found the parts I understood fascinating. Dr Gominak is an incredibly bright person and one who doesn’t preach or pretend she knows it all. I could listen to her for hours.
