Has anyone noticed an increase of these on NDT?
I've been on NDT about 4 years now. I've always been light sensitive, but it's worse the last few years.
Any correlation?

I have noise, rather than light, sensitivity but I think it's an adrenal rather than a thyroid thing (although of course the two are closely related).
My migraines and headaches did get worse over the years but I've never related it to being on NDT - the opposite if anything, I wasn't on it soon enough, although mine did start with the menopause.
I had to take beta blockers for the chronic migraine in the end, but then I couldn't get off them, you have to do it very slowly apparently. My naturopath kept increasing my dose of NDT until I woke up one morning and just felt I didn't need the beta blockers any more. I was able to stop them, and now I've reduced the NDT a lot. My migraines are infinitely better than they were.
But we're all different - NDT could be the cure for me and the cause for you so I'm afraid you just have to keep going until you find what works for you.
Meanwhile I can recommend tiger balm for the headaches - try a big dollop on the back of you neck/base of skull as well as a little around your temples etc.
Hi.
I'll look into the adrenal cause of migraines. Could you recommend any literature?
I've just started beta blockers.
I'm also going to have to switch back to levo next month as I can no longer afford NDT. The price increase over the last few years is frightening.
Unfortunately, it's bad science to change two parameters at the same time, but it cannot be helped.
