T3 increase and tolerance

Doctor decided to increase my T3 earlier than I expected. I moving from 5mcg to 7.25 mcg. Didn’t go well the last time. I’d only been on 5mcg for a couple of days when we tried 7.25. Anxiety was horrible. I haven’t been doing well. The consensus is that I’m under medicated so we are starting with T3 instead of T4. I’m a bit nervous about it. Can’t take many more days in bed. Wish me luck. Have a good evening.

Try to increase it by 1.25 at a time - wait 3 -4 days before increasing each time till you get to full dose. Your body seems to be sensitive to dose changes and the slower you take it up the better you may feel. Since nothing else has worked for you, maybe easing into it will help you. All the best.

Just woke up, took it, then saw this. I should’ve done it like this. Hopefully, today will be okay. I’ll do the 1.25 tomorrow. Ugh

Good luck and try not to anticipate things . You will get there but you need to go slow. All the best.

I’m a little scared. You are right about anticipation. It’s overwhelming. When your thyroid isn’t working, not much else works, either. Thank you for the support.

I would say wait two weeks in between increases. It's not something you want to rush.

GG, I’ve been on 5mcg since July 12th. Probably should’ve done 1.25. Today could be rough. Yesterday was so bad. We’ve all talked that I was under medicated. Still, I should’ve taken less.

Only you can know how slowly you need to go. You were under-medicated, yes, but that's not a reason to rush things. :)

Hindsight! Hoping today goes okay and I’ll try the 1.25 for awhile. So desperate to feel human. Thank you
