Hello everyone!

I’m on holiday in Spain. I brought a new tub of Teva liothyronine and can’t open the tub!

Any advice on how to get it open would be appreciated, Thank you!

Yup, childproof lids are me proof lids 😊 I always have to get someone to open them for me... Like a passing child 😉

I discovered that if you use a knife to break the seal it comes off easily 😊

Oooooohhhjh instead of pushing down and turning just break the seal with a knife???? THANK YOU. Writing that down and sticking it on the fridge for the next one 😃

Over an hour of 3 of us pushing down and turning! Then got a knife, broke the seal and it opened right away. I’m just hoping I remember for the next bottle 😂

Are you sure it's Liothyronine? According to what I've heard, there's no T3 in available Spain.

I get it at home from the NHS, I just brought it with me and couldn’t open the bottle. This is my first time with this brand and had no idea the bottles were so difficult to open!

Ah ok! I misunderstood. I thought they'd changed their policy about thyroid hormone replacement, and was just about to jump on a plane for Barcelona! lol
