T3 now ‘amber’ in Surrey

So my GP responded to my Private Endo, he had asked that they now take over the prescribing of my T3. I’m really really relieved now that I don’t have to worry about life long care. Although, she’s covering her back when she says that he must be the one to continue management. I didnt think that was necessary? My NHS endo wont prescribe as she says it’s ‘dangerous’! 😩

I take it that T3 used to be ‘red’ so going to amber is a good step?

T3 has only ever been amber

Technically only an NHS endocrinologist can give clinical diagnosis of clinical need

With annual review via endocrinologist

So your GP is being helpful
