My wonderful GP retiring and Brexit. Help to continue getting T3

Above says it all. I am (was) on 75 mcg levo and 10 mcg Thybon T3.

I decided to reduce T3 to 5 mcg in the hope that with my improved digestion GF. +vitamins (Thanks to all on here) I would be able to manage without.

After brexit we won’t know if we can continue obtaining T3 from Germany. ! (😫😫)

I started reduction to 5mcg 7 days ago. I am much more tired and getting muscle pain. Not good, but the worst problem is passing urine . The steam is really slow and I feel less than I used to pass. The outcome is a weight gain of 3 lbs. 😳 In that short time.

Going forward , if that is to be week on week, I will have a big problem.

My diet hasn’t changed one bit in the time and I am now very worried .

If proof is need about putting on weight as a result of poor hormone treatment when hypo , this is surely it!

Some extra weight wouldn’t be a problem to me but my tummy is now like a baggy balloon full of a couple of pints of water😫

Not sure where I going with this post but just wanted to report my experience .

If the picture appears , it’s just to soothe my mind , which is full of fear.

It sounds like you need to up your T3 again Ghart. I should worry about Brexit if and when it happens. I think it unlikely that the gove will be able to agree on an exit plan so dont hold breath or worry about what might not happen. Lovely photo.North Cornwall I imagine. Sorry to here about your loss of GP. I am going through something similar. a lot of the decent ones are leaving and retiring early as unable and unallowed to work with any kind of clinical freedom.

Thankyou Mandyjane. I decided to go back on dose I was doing ok on. I thought I might do permanent damage 🙃
