3 weeks ago I switched from ThyBon Henning T3 to Sigma as Sigma was provided by NHS for first time. I’d been in ThyBon Henning for about 10 weeks. I take 5mcg twice a day with 75mcg liquid Levothyroxine
After a week on Sigma I started with a burning sensation on my skin. It’s under my left breast and travels round to the middle of my back. I’m also getting sharp spike pain shooting across the area. I went to see my GP last week as I thought it might be shingles. He said not. Yesterday I notice a number of angry red spot like lumps under my breast area. I went back to my GP yesterday. Still doesn’t think it’s shingles. It’s painful with sharp pain shooting across to my back from breast area. I also have been feeling quite unwell especially yesterday. This began when I began the Sigma T3.
Has anyone had an allergic reaction to Sigma T3 medication please. My GP seems puzzled.
Many thanks
Pam

Thank you! I’m going to have to go back to GP again. It’s very painful with lots of shooting pains. It’s under my breast. And the pain shoots across with very tender skin from breast to side of my back. The tender skin has no rash on. There are some angry looking red spots which are also painful. Not blistered like shingles does. I’ve never had this before. I recently had a mammogram and that was clear. I’ve had it for 2 weeks now and started Sigma 2 weeks ago. I just checked the date I stated it. I’ve switched back to ThyBon today to see if it goes away.
