I was just wondering- have people found differences between t3 brands- Tyromel, Cynomel, UniPharma- like with Levo, or are they interchangeable? Can you mix them, either on the same day or from one day to the next? Self medicating creates problems of consistency

I have tried Unipharma and Grossman Cynomel. I found Cynomel stronger. I tried mixing them and it didn't work. I tried a couple of months of each and preferred Unipharma. Some people swear by Grossman Cynomel and say it's the best T3 they've tried.
It's very individual, of course. Just as some people can take any brand of Levo without a problem, some will be able to chop and change their brand of T3. Just as some people only do well on one brand of Levo, some people will do better on one particular brand of T3.
Ginny52 - just another mention about Teva T3 which Boots gave me rather than Mercury Pharma - and I had a horrible horrible week on it - symptom change was almost immediate. I haven't tried any other brands as this experience has unnerved me. The team of ladies at Boots my Pharmacist know me well enough now to always order Mercury Pharma even if there system says there is a cheaper option.
Seaside Susie mentioned above that it doesn’t seem to work in combination with Unipharma. I’d been doing well on the latter, but it’s running out and the new order hasn’t come yet, so I’ll be going back to the bottle of Cynomel I was using before. I like Unipharma better too, but Cynomel was ok
