If you are on T3+T4 or NDT, using Paul Robinson's protocol to reinforce T3 circadian rhythm during the sleep cycle, I would be interested in knowing what size T3 dose(s) you are taking, at what time(s). I have found that a dose at bedtime, and a dose when I wakeup around 0300, reduces my problem with middle insomnia. But I think the size of my doses may be too high, as I sometimes feel kind of "lit". Does anyone know how much T3 the body makes, during the period of circadian rise occurring between bedtime and 6am?
I am not on T3-only. I use T4=100mcg daily, and take T3 only during the sleep cycle. I already know that T3=12.5mcg daily forces my TSH down to ~0.1, so I expect that I need T3 dose(s) totaling between 7.5mcg and 15mcg, during the sleep cycle. I take a small dose of T3 at bedtime, which extends my sleep time until sometime after 0300, at which point I take another dose to reinforce the 0400 sweet spot.
