I’ve been taking levothyroxine since December, 50 one a day. I’ve been fine. Had. A blood test 3 months later to check everything was ok, normals went back to normal. I started to feel better finally something was being done.... fast forward to now, had bloods done last week, had a text to say levels were abit high, went to the doctors today and told them about the feeling of my heart beating too fast; she checked and said my heart is beating too fast and it could be that I’m on too much thyroxine. So she said to take one every other day for three weeks so I can see how I get on, get bloods done in three weeks and take it from there. 50 is already a low dose? Why was I fine at first? Levels went back to normal now they are high? I’m confused and she didn’t really seem bothered, I’m also under fertility clinic so worried this will have an affect, surely if my dose is lowered even more will it even help? Please help x
