Hi

Taking carbimazole for too long can tip you from hyper to hypothyroidism and I think the latter is linked to PVCs (but you would need to get this checked professionally.)

Hi BonnyK

Thank you for that have had 24 hour monitor for my PVC’s and cardiologist says that they are nothing to worry about mostly due to thyroid issues but each time it happens I do worry.

Having Taking RAI therapy on Monday 11th June so coming off Carbimazole one week before treatment and doctor says to take half 7.5mg after one week of treatment then have blood test done after 8 weeks.

I just hope that this will help with the PVC’s cross fingers.

I think that once you have had the RAI and get restabilised you will feel a lot better. All the best!
