Yes, those two are the same brand. Northstar is Actavis rebranded for Lloyds Pharmacy. If you look at the foil on the blister pack it will say Actavis, it should also say Actavis on the Northstar box somewhere I believe.

The thing is I’m still not well an I was ok till I took it an when I mentioned to chemist didn’t act shocked that I can’t walk so wonder how many realey cas you got remember only a few in this site what about the rest who do not go online was you,ill on it and how long to recover thankyou

The pharmacist should know better as TEVA is the only Thyroid medication that is Lactose free but they seem to hand it out to anyone! Those who need to be taking seem to have no problems. It was considered cheap when it came out, probably a marketing ploy to get people to sell/buy it but from what I am reading itcwasgiven out without any thought to its use.

Yes it’s true with no thought to how I’ll patients feel for ages afterwards. They no because pharmacy said had so many complaints in only two weeks off it so hoping symptoms will go soon now back on actvus
