Does anyone have this? I don’t have a goitre but every now and again I get this sensation in my neck. Can anyone relate? I feel it on both sides of my throat.
Also I know this is a problem with graves but I’ve seen a few who have been hypo too and needed more meds. Would appreciate comments of those who have heard of this too or can relate!

Yes i sometines get tightness in my throat and im hypothyroud and have actually wretched with it. Very unpleasant. I usually find my meds need adjusting.

Sounds like a goitre to me as they grow INwards as well as OUTwards.
Whatever it may be, please take care to breathe deeply as shallow breathing is definitely a cause for pneumonia, which can be highly dangerous

This was the only symptom I had at the time I presented to my gp.
(With hindsight I had put weight on too but not badly)
I can tell when my levels are off (usually low) as my thyroid swells and makes my throat tight 😉

Weakness and shaking as a hypo symptom?
