TT dec 18

RAI coming up in July.

I’m on high dose to keep TSH suppresses and feel a bit anxious too.

If it is bad doctors do thyroid blood panel to see if you need dose change. Good luck!

Hey dodge1979 👋Have you had TSH/T3/4 tests recently? Could be a dosing problem. How’s your diet and vitamin levels? It very hard to find a way out when you become so low and you can’t see the wood for the trees 😢 it can be hard to balance what the body used to do naturally, we’re trying to guess but keeping up to date with blood tests, vitamin tests, diet and symptoms will become second nature to you over the coming years. Don’t be too hard on yourself or your body, the TT and RAI is very recent and it’s going to take time to find your way 🤗

Yep! I hear you! I’m From Belfast and an ex army brat so quite a toughie! 😂 I say that to empathise with you being ex Navy! You think you’re invincible! And you are! You’re getting up a you’re taking care of the house and child and working! If you were already putting in 100% you wouldn’t do any of it. So you’re still strong stuff!!

If you could post blood test results then the forum could maybe use their experience to guide you about your dosing? Has the anxiety started since starting t3?

Sympathise with you - had thyrotoxicosis years ago - it does send you round the bend. Can see you have done a lot of research but may be selenium and zinc will help with the conversion of your T3 and T4. Vitamin C in combination with these may help your thyroid and adrenal glands.

A very good article on selenium can be found at

stopthethyoidmadness.com/se...

It indicates that insufficiency can cause mental health problems such as depression.

Zinc deficiency too is an important supplement effecting T3 andT4 TSH.

thyroidadvisor.com/effects-...

is a detailed article giving food sources for zinc as well as outlining the effects of deficiency on the thyroid gland for mental function.

Hope you find the right answer to your thyroid hormone conversion problem.
