I'm going to take a holiday this summer and decided to go to a country that sells T3 over the counter. However, I heard that they've stopped selling it OTC in Greece. Can you guys let me know which countries I can get it without any hassle?
I have a prescription for T3 in Ireland but it's insanely expensive.

Thanks. I was hoping for someplace closer. I don't think it would make sense financially to go to either of those countries to save money on T3. Do you know if any European countries sell it OTC?
I don’t know where in Europe sells it. Use to be Greece but that’s now a gone option. Seems hard to find and definitely hard to find a legit source.

Until recently I was living in France where I bought T3 over the counter. You are suppose to have a prescription but I just ordered for it every four weeks at my locl pharmacy. The cost was just over 3 euros a packet for 30 tablets of 25 mcg.
Only last week I was asked by someone on here that was going to France how I managed to buy it. I sent here a PM and she bought 4 packets in Nice but paid a little more for it.
There is a way of going about it i.e. offering to pay then and there if they ask for a prescription. Usually they have to order it it for the same or next day because not many keep it in stock.

We have had some posters explain that T3 is not over-the-counter in Mexico. I put it like that because I have no personal experience.
Remember, just because we can buy from some countries without a prescription does NOT mean that residents of (or visitors to) those countries can do the same.
Besides it becoming prescription only in Greece, it was mentioned on the forum fairly recently that it is also now prescription only in Turkey.
I personally don't know of any European country where you can easily get it over the counter. It may be possible to buy the odd box from the occasional pharmacy but from what I understand it would involve much traipsing around and much disappointment. It might just be easier to find an online supplier and pay what's necessary.

It's available in Greece, I went last month. 
The downside is that sourcing it requires a lot of grim determination & leg work as less than 1 in 5 pharmacies stock it, & many say it doesn't exist. If you're thinking of booking a trip, choose somewhere with a sizaeble town or city & a lot of pharmacies. I don't know about Ireland, but where I've been has ten times more than the UK, & the staff are generally nice & helpful. Some will order, but there's an issue (I was told) with the government controlling supplies rather than pharmaceutical stockists, possibly due to bodybuilder abuse. They can only get a few packs, not tens of packs & a cupboard full as three years ago. There's a Greek Yellow Pages type website called Vrisko that is useful, though I was so stressed, I couldn't get it up in English until i got home. Googlemaps can be a tad inaccurate.
Could you have your prescrition filled in Germany? There's recently been problems with postage to the UK as my B12 share group have had issues sourcing pharmacies that export, we think because of Brexit, but you should be ok in Ireland.
I would say it’s due to bodybuilding. Use to be able to walk into Greek pharmacies about buy steroids. Was many steroid suppliers selling to UK and USA so no doubt that caused the laws to change.

Your prescription is valid in France. I had to have 2 private prescriptions when ccg stopped my nhs T3 for a bit due to cost. I took prescription to pharmacy and they ordered 9 box's (30x25mcg) for me to collect next morning. They also gave me prescription back and I was able to use it at 2 other places, which was a result. Prescription had to be in multiples of 25mcg as in France the use cynomel.

Hi I'm currently in Turkey and you can buy Tiromel & Levothyroxine OTC, Tiromel is 20ytl for 100 x 25mcg which works out at almost £3 by today's currency rates, levothyroxine is even cheaper and no prescription needed.
