Hypothyroid : Hi can someone help with these... - Thyroid UK
Hypothyroid
B12 and folate are ok
No vitamin D test
Your ferritin is too low. Eating liver or liver pate, plus daily vitamin C and other iron rich foods like spinach, pumpkin seeds, and dark chocolate should help improve levels
Looking for ferritin to be at least half way in range
FSH and LH levels are high. Ask GP to explain these
I expect it's the high FSH and LH that have lead to the menopause comment.
I get random pains all over my body from time to time.
Pretty sure it's related to low minerals.
I can't see any thyroid results. Have you ever had that tested?
Thankyou she didnt test thyroid this time this was previous thyroid result on March ft4 <3 Free T3 6.4 TSH <0.02
Well something I don't understand in the report is why under UREA & ELECTROLYTES, it says "Abnormal - Contact Patient."
With one exception, all of the items listed are within the range specified to the right. The exception is the last item, which I am having trouble reading. It has a value of 81. What is that? What does that electrolyte(?) do in the body. Can't even look it up because I can't make out all the letters/numbers in it.
OK, took a stab at Google and it returned this: mdcalc.com/ckd-epi-equation...
If that's what they tested, then it looks like some medication you are taking needs to be adjusted.
