Does anyone know about medical coded entries on medical records.
I would like to know what (X70yB) means in conjunction with my B12 injections. I have 1mg/1no of Hydroxocobalamin every 3.months.
But on my records this time I found this coded entry.
The reason I am asking is that I don't think I was given the injection. Usually it stings and hurts for a day. But this time I felt absolutely nothing. And my symptoms are creeping back. Probably paranoia as well.
I have looked on line for help with codes, but didn't get anywhere.
Any help or information please.

A human reading your record could read "B12 intra-muscular injection 1000 mcg hydroxocobalamin" and the date without difficulty. But for unambiguous computerised systems, it really does help to have a unique code.
