Grapefruitseed capsules or liquid

Hello, was wondering if anyone knows if taking these will interfere with my thyroid meds (Levothyroxine). I am thinking of using it to help prevent cystitis, as have read it can help. Already using D Mannose which helps a little if taken when needed. Using probiotics too. Would obviously take the grapefruitseed a few hours away from my Levo. Would be grateful if anyone knows if there is a problem with Hypothyroid people using this. Many thanks 😊

I am not sure about the seeds of grapefruit but I have very often gone on the grapefruit diet while on both Levothyroxine and NDT with absolutely no side affects - except, of course, losing weight very successfully. Now seeds, they are a completely different kettle of fish, very often seeds can be quite toxic so research your problem from that point of view. Some seeds contain stuff like arsenic and cyanide so do do careful research on these seeds.

I googled it and Grapefruit seeds have cyanide in them.

Google "Toxins in fruit seeds", it will shock you.

I did find this and they’re not supposed to be toxic in the extract but good to be aware. Thank you for you time and help 😊 thecandidadiet.com/grapefru...

How did you get on ? I have the same problem. Gynae prescribed Nitrofurantoin 50mg nocte new GP took me off it because I hadn't had a problem for 6 months and of course it promptly came back. Now I refuse to be taken off it. I take my Levothyroxine in the early hours. Let me know please.
