There are some previous posts about Tirosint which may be helpful

There's obviously a typo with the other one you've mentioned in your title, but I can't make out what it's supposed to be.

I suggest "Unithroid" as a possibility?

is that the same as tirosint?

Both Unithroid and Tirosint contain levothyroxine as their active pharmaceutical ingredient.

Unithroid (also supplied as Lannett) is a tablet with various other ingredients. Tirosint is a gel cap with just glycerin, water and gelatin.

I’ve taken both Unithroid and Tirosint. I experienced side effects with Unithroid and overall do not feel it is as effective as Tirosint. I will now only take Tirosint.

I changed over to Tirosint from Eltroxin (which made me sick after many years of use -- I think they changed the formula).

Tirosint is just the T4 + distilled water and a gelatin cover. For someone like me with many allergies, this has worked.

Good Luck!

Tirosint also contains glycerin.

For me, glycerine beats maize, wood products and other fillers that are unidentifiable even by the companies that make the medicaments. One company's rep told me that when it comes to fillers they often take what is cheapest on the market at that particular time.

Fine - but some people cannot tolerate glycerin. And it is the other ingredient.

(Glycerin is, apparently sourced from sources soybeans or palm. And animal-derived tallow is another source.)
