Thanks for posting this; the study has some limits. However,

‘Conclusions: Combined T3 T4 treatment seems to be more effective than treatment with T4 alone in hypothyroid patients.’

No sh*t Sherlock! Why does that not surprise me and why won’t it surprise many on here?

Some do well on monotherapy, but even they might do even better and be restored to health more quickly with combination therapies. Why won’t they give us the choices so we can find the best medication for each of us?

Sometimes this whole T3 thing makes me feel like I’m living in some alternate universe 1984 type world, where the truth is glaringly obvious but it is not the truth because everyone in power denies it. Grrrr!

I think what is good is to have access to as much info as possible, both from last century and more recent studies...after all, if the same conclusion is reached over and over again, it can only strengthen our case, right...? :-)
