GP appointment on Monday. He is not NDT savvy! Will he panic?
Very likely, with a below range TSH and low FT4 if he is only used to seeing results when patients take Levo only. But you will have to explain to him that is what NDT does because of the T3 element in it - lowers (even suppresses) TSH and lowers FT4 but as long as FT3 is within range then it's fine.
If you are self medicating, and your GP doesn't like your results, you don't have to have tests done with the NHS, just do them yourself privately and relieve your GP of anything to do with your thyroid if you are confident in what you are doing.
