My partner just got these results back from medichecks (after taking tests for general health check) we were surprised to see raised antibodies with High T3 and T4. I’m hypo but not autoimmune, so I’ve started reading up to learn more, but would really appreciate insights into why his results look like this and suggested actions, apart from sorting out a good diet!
Many thanks 😁

You could be autoimmune too, because the standard tests do not look for all four of the possible antibodies. Some of us carry a genetic polymorphism that produces a different antibody in response to autoimmune thyroiditis. If they test for the two most common and you produce #3 or #4, they say "No autoimmune disease" when actually there is.
Good point, I’ve had the autoimmune tests on here too and was negative, I also have very stable TSH, T4, T3 that respond in a predictable way to NDT, so fingers crossed mine is not and it well controlled 😁
I’m keeping a close eye on our son. My doctor believes mine is due to Sheehan’s syndrome (blood loss in birth, extreme low blood pressure, starving pituitary gland). The good news is knowing means we can be aware and act accordingly 😁
