I'm on T3 only for some time (can't take levo). Still very low dosage. My doctor and other people said, "look closer at your FT3 tests". My question is: What to look for exactly? Too high? Above the ref. numbers etc? Can someone explain, please? Thank you for spending time reading this.

I cannot advise, only say what works for me. I must have cellular resistance as I take 200mcg of T3, in one dose, per day; this is 3x the physiological dose. I start to have brain fog if I drop the dose and don’t have any adverse effects, not one I can feel anyway. I self-medicate so my GP is not involved at all in my treatment. As the nhs use only TSH and T4 for diagnosis and treatment this is useless for someone on T3 only.
Wow, that's a big dose. I self-medicate too. Seven doctors and no one believed me that I can't take T4 ... Will check my blood just to have more info. Feeling the dose seems more logical. Thanks for sharing!
