I am taking 50mc of levothyroxin and 5mc of liothyronine for the past month I have been on thyroid medication past 20 years just recently started on liothyronine since I am not able to shed a pound even eating right and exercise every day. I have re

cently experienced heart palpitations and am wondering if it is the liothyronine

I would say yes...I had palpitations when first added small amount of T3 to levo, but by the time I had got my dose upto a full 25 mcg pill they had gone...think it was the shock to my body after being deprived of decent FT3 level, and that I was under medicated.

How much Levothyroxine were you on before T3 was added?

Do you have autoimmune thyroid disease also called Hashimoto's diagnosed by high thyroid antibodies

What are vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 levels?
