I don't see why it would, it doesn't even get into your digestive tract. But I thought it was under the tongue, not on it, no?

I know, a lot of people think they can take it sublingually, but they're wrong. The results we see on here clearly show that.

Taking the spray in the mouth means it bypasses the GI tract by going directly into the blood stream via the jugular vein, from the salivary glands; which means that it isn't degregated by stomach acid and first pass in the liver, and conversely doesn't directly irritate the gut. So you shouldn't have a problem. By the way, I contacted Better You myself to query why they didn't specify sublingual application, rather than spraying buccally or just generally into the mouth, as it was the fastest method of absorption. They agreed that it was, but because the spray is absorbed within 30 seconds, being more specific than "into the mouth" wasn't necessary so long as you didn't swallow for those 30 seconds (nor eat, drink, or smoke of course).

Thank you for your advice. Will keep using it and see how I go-I heard magnesium supplements are important to counteract side effects.

You're welcome. Re. magnesium, it is important co-factor of Vit D: it has its own benefits independent of Vit D, but importantly it assists in the activation of Vit D to help influence the growth and maintenance of bones. Vit K2 is also important when taking Vit D, in making sure that the calcium you get from foods and supplements is properly directed to your teeth and bones, and not the soft tissues, arterial walls and joints. Unless you take blood thinners, supplementing with the trio of Vit D, Vit K2, and Magnesium is important.
