Hello
So after my latest results of 0.21 TSH and T4 15 I was bricking it in the build up to my follow-up GP appointment. Knowingthay in the past I felt well with a TSH of 0.01 and T4 just over 21, knowing I’d had a call from the GP practice telling me to reduce my dose (I didn’t!) I felt I had a right old battle on my hands to get him to agree to increase my dose. I went armed with so many studies and facts, with my heart rate record for the last week (resting heart rate of 51) and ...
I didn’t have to show him anything! He has agreed to increase my dose from 87.5mcg to 100mcg with a retest in 6 weeks. I almost felt deflated as I was prepared to fight my corner, although I was panicking like mad before I went in.
So pleased - keeping everything crossed that this tweak puts me back where I need to be - and in the meantime a tiny bit of my faith in the NHS has been restored.
